Hey guys was coming back from the petro,l station today and the car started to judder at low revs and in low gears, wasnt really picking up speed properly, managed to get the car home, had the AA come out and they have said that the problem is the

Suspected Turbo/Actuator Valve is Faulty?

Has anyone had this problem before with their A3 TDI?

Does anyone know where i can pick this part up cheap etc?

Sooo angry, got so much on my mind and now THIS :(

having a quick scout around it seems to be a common problem in which once you cut the engine out, and start up again the car seems to be ok?
this is the same as what was happening to me?

reading on the N75 valve seems to pop up a lot?

variable vane turbos seems to pop up a lot?

however innotec have some sort of turbo cleaner that people say works a treat? how does this work?

Overboosting seems to be a common problem?
how do i check my car to see what fault codes come up?

I had an over boost problem and this was mentioned to me that could be the cause, but in my case turned out to be the turbo, different from you. Sold the car now

its wierd regarding from what the AA guy sed.. Suspected Turbo Actuator Valve..
i doubt its the turbo because theres no smoke, my dads got the skoda octavia 1.9TDI PD Engine same as me, when his turbo went all you could see was a cloud of smoke.
after searching up it could be a number of things :(
im gettin it checked out from a diesel specialist tmo.
hopefully fingers crossed it wnt be the turbo and hopefully nothing major :(

When my turbo went, I got no smoke. Just a whining that progressively got louder! Only I heard it at first, on each one that went lol, thought I was going mad!!! Fingers crossed for you that its something simple.

again i doubt its the turbo, as once it starts juddering and not picking up speed correctly turn off the engine and turn it back on it seems fine?
ive read that the car automatically goes into limp mode in order to refrain any engine damage or summit.
its confusing me it cud be soo many things?
cars are jus expenses expenses expenses :(

regarding the turbo? how much are you looking for labour and parts?

surely the turbo cant jus switch itself on and off? if that makes sense?

I dunno, girls with cars... she doesn't even realise the 3.2 isn't turbocharged, bless ;)

IF you read properly it was a previous car! I know this one has no turbo, thats why I bought it. Not all girls are dumb where cars are involved!!!!
