Hi,

Has anyone had any probs after removing arch screws, front and rear?
Does anyone know what I need to remove them? Are they normal screws or Torx?

I have front left removed as it stopped some rubbing, but want to remove the rest, as I have also heard a bit of rubbing from the rear right.

Thanks
Scott

Correct .torq screws in all the arch liners. Had mine off enough times :icon_thumright:

I know many do remove these screws but in this day and age where every nut and bolt is accounted for I find it hard to believe that Audi would make provision for a fixing that is surplus to requirements.

Personally I'd look for a way of relocating an additional fastening further in the wheel arch if I have to remove mine.

I removed mine with no problems, Im sure a 5 or 6mm flat driver will fit snug enough to remove the screws too. Iv taken apart 100's of things in my life and always had screws left over so leave them out and save some weight lol..

Would this cause a gap to be left in between the fenders and bumper? It happened to my old E46 bimmer :(
