I'm thinking of putting screens into the rear of the front seat headrests, mainly for the kids to be able to watch films on long journeys. Has anyone done this mod and if so,which screens did you use, how did you link them to the headunit, can you hook them into the RNS-E, etc. BTW, I'm running a DLO Homedock with an iPod video into an RNS-e.

Any help much appreciated.

One thing to consider in doing this mod is your headrests. For this to work properly, you really need to be one of the lucky few who have tilting ones.

Over wise, you wont be able to adjust the screen viewing position. I dont know if it will be a big problem, but worth looking into :)

ive done mine, theres not alot of room in there trust me. you will lose alot of the tilt in headrest due to depth of screens and what needs to be cut out.

all the threads/links youve posted are for cars with bigger headrests than ours !!! no point !! you WONT get a 7" screen in ours.
