Can you put a complete new style DRL headlight unit into a 2005 A3 Sportback?

Hello,

I have been making a few enquiries with Audi garages as to whether the measurements for fitting the genuine Audi DRL headlights into my 2005 A3 Sportback are the same and whether it is simply possible, it is something they have not encountered before and was just seeing if anybody else has tried to do this with thier older model (pre DRL) and had success or is it just not cost effective nor possible to get a genuine part to fit into the 05 model?

If so does anybody have any contacts who would be able to do this for me?

No you cant.

Not unless you change wings bonnet bumper and various over parts

If you mean the led drl's on 08 facelifts onwards, then as scottie says, not without changing vast amount of items for newer style or cutting your existing wings, bonnet & bumper & fibre glassing shaping to mould round them nicely, but hey I love/relish challenges.

youd certainly be unique but there is an old old thread on here in the FAQs stating the huge costs involved.
