is this a good deal an A3 2.0 tdi sport with star alloys, metallic paint, cruise control and 4 spoke multi function steering wheel for £18250 from a importer full uk spec car or could i get close to that from a uk dealer

I would not get an import fpr that price, one year warranty remember and Audi charge around £1400 for the extra two years, no longer looks that good a deal.

If I hadn't wanted a DSG I would have bought jasew's car, superb spec. great looking car, and he has very kindly taken the biggest hit in price already;)
Plus you will still have over 2 years more warranty than an import.

all imports now come with 2 years european warranty as i only keep my car for 2 years thats all i need jasew's car is superb but its the wrong colour i am looking for a blue car

be carfull not all imports have 2 yrs warrenty people have been caught out with that before there are still some countrys were you will only get 1 yr warrenty. best to check your self through audi which countrys come with what

my local dealer the only one in N Ireland wont give me more that £500 of the car which makes it £20200 which is £2000 more than the import theres no way the car will be worth £2000 less in a couple of years it is full uk spec so no different other than the warranty

Yeah I had a trade in when I bought the BMW and traded it with the guy in Belfast.

I have just put a deposit on an A3 S-line yesterday and I advertised my Avant on ebay, sold it in a day.
Ebay is great for selling cars, £8 to list and a flat rate of £16 if it sells.
Sold the BMW touring on there and our ML270cdi.
The hardest part is getting round to putting the advert up.

So still not worth getting the import then less than £400 difference!

the base price i can get it for is £17275 and i dont have to go the mainland to pick it up which would cost £200 i am going to try my local dealer again to see if the will deal

Good price where are you located?

2.0tdi very chippable with the £400 you saved JABBASPORT can take a 130bhp diesel to about 210bhp god knows what they can do with yours i know there far away any specialists close buy.
P.S More fuel economy!

i went back to the dealer today and tried to get them to drop the price some more but they wouldnt or couldnt the bloke i saw asked if i want to take the model i was getting out for a test drive even after i said i was going to broadspeed or the importer
he told me the importers deal was very very good but to go for the broadspeed deal instead as i would get 3 years warranty and roadside support
