Managed to change all of the door trims easily but am a little stuck on gear stick trim and don't want to damage it. Same goes for the ashtray - any tips? I'm replacing the wood trim for piano black.

Removing trim around the gear stick and from the ash tray - how?

Remove receptacle part of ashtraythen hook fingers under front of trim and give it a firm tug upwards. The trim is only held on with clips and easily comes off - and what's more important easily goes back !!
Cheers, i'll have another go later. Got the gear lever surround off but couldn't quite see how it comes off and didn't want to risk breaking any of the clips.
