FUEL FLAP

My brother in law poped up with his A3 2.0tdi 05 today and was asking why the fuel flap central locking was stuck closed.
After locking/opening the door's with the car's remote the flap was still locked. In the end we used the opening cord inside to open the flap. Has anyone had the same problem and how easy is it to fix.

Stupid reply really, but did you double push the open button on the key fob. One push opens drivers door, two opens all including fuel flap.
I am sure you have done this, but you never know

hi you could try double clicking your key fob but it should be open whenever the drivers door is in unlocked mode. sounds like theres a problem with the actuator that locks/unlocks the flap. give it a spray with wd4o, it might just be stickin
