    Pick up my 3.2 S-Line today Woo..

    Barely slept a wink all night [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

    One question though, whats the standard run in for the 3.2?

    Hmm, i find my current A 1.8T to be much higher revving than the demo 3.2 i took out. I'm going to try keep it below 3500 i think IF i can.

    do you still have to run in the recent cars? I thought you did not need to now?
    the 3.2 goes to 7000rpm max
    did the 3.2 demo have DSG?

    btw: why do you want to rev the 1.8T higher than 5500rpm since the turbo stops around this rpm?

    lol.. running in?

    i was doing 120 down the motorway on the way home with a big grin on my face.. lol

    but ive done 10k now and no problems.. gunna get the oil done this saturday..

    when I got delivery of my 3.2, I asked if you still have to 'run it in'... the guy just smiled and said "keep it under 155mph" [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
