BUMPER HELP PLEASE

I want to get a new style bumper for my 54reg a3 but iv bin told that the 08reg bumper wont fit wot year bumpers will fit?

You have a 8P1.. this will accomodate a 8P2 front with an 8P2 bonnet.

You can't fit an 8P3 front onto an 8P1 without replacing the wings.

I believe you can fit any bumper from 2003-2008

2009 is the facelift version

SO IF I WANTED TO PUT AN 8P2 SLINE BUMPER ON DO I NEED THE BONNET TO SUIT ASWEL?

Yes, you would need an 8P2 bonnet. Additionally, if you go for the S-Line, you would also need new fog lights (and fog surrounds), plus repair wires in order to fir the fogs. Search for Mattandrews thread on S-Line conversion - lots of useful info there.
