S3 Grill Differences

Hopefully this topic has not been covered as i could not find anything using the search function.

I hit a pheasant at the weekend and split the lower diffuser and also broke the grill. I am just off the phone to my local Audi garage and i was quoted £310 for the primed front bumber. They also mentioned that there were two types of grill, black or grey. The grey costs £173 and the black costs £269. What is the main difference between the 2 grills apart from colour? Am guessing the near £100 difference would be a different material.

Any information or pictures would be great.

Nothing, just the colour - it is part of the optics pack.

What colour is your S3? As the black might suit it.

You could pick up a second hand front bumper from ebay for much less than the above.

My car is Ice Silver Metallic so thinking about buying the grey as thats what was on it as standard. Although if i coould see a picture of the black one it may persuade me to get it.
