Front Seat Problem...

I was checking my car today when i noticed the front pasenger seat would tilt forward and slide when you want to get into the back seats ( 3 door ). However it wont slide forward on the drivers seat when i want to get in the back. Is this normal? If not how is it fixed??

I still haven't mastered the seats yet, even after being shown how by a fellow ASN member, I find them a pain in the @rse to be honest!

When you pull the handle the seat sould tilt and slide forwards

To get it back into position push the seat backrest forwards while sliding the base back - poor design but same as Focus

Its a common problem. The mechanism breaks. Sorry but don't know how to fix it.

how about looking on elsawin or whatever its called?
would it be on there??
