clutch and flywheel cost

Iv been quoted around 500+vat for a new clutch and flywheel, from an VW Audi specialist. its not an OEM one, they said that would be 700. im getting loud shuddering when starting the car and then shuddering when idle, which goes away if i fan the clutch. i have the 1.9tdi.
Does this price sound okay or anyone know someone cheaper around the glasgow area?
Do you think this would Sort the Problem? Thanks.

What engine is yours? is it chipped? considering the standard LUK clutches are far from bulletproof on 2.0Ts and 2.0tdis which hav been chipped I woud go for the OEM sachs one atleast.
where did u get that quote? try A4Audi see what price they give or a clutch specialist

ill give a4audi call tomorrow, looking to get the drivechain done at the same time, mine hasnt been remaped yet. its the 1.9tdi 100bh
