Hi there,

I'm after the part numbers for the dog bone bushes for an A3 3.2.....

These are the bushes for the lower engine restraint.

Just trying to decide wether to replace them with Audi bits of Powerflex......

dont know number off hand but I had the powerflex on my old 8L A3 and it does reduce engine movement quite a bit. You do feel a bit more engine vibration through the gearstick though but its minimal.

Cheers for the input.

Will prob. give the powerflex ago then. There does seem to be far too much slop in there when setting off.....

Anybody know if the subframe needs dropping as per this link http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=4195875

Or does the powerflex insert just push into the existing bush.....

I had vibratechnics engine mounts on my beetle, seemed to take a lot of slack out on hard acceleration, felt good! So I got powerflex on the wishbones and they didnt seem that great, just felt harsh. They also decomposed after 18 months. Ended up replacing them with OEM 8L S3 bushes and it felt much better.

check out HPA, VF engineering and BSH. Change out all the mounts not just the lower pendulum mount
