Can anyone help me? Can a hard wired retro fit hands free kit (e.g Bury) be wired up so it can be used with a MFSW and DIS? I've seen various threads explaining about the bluetooth option but cant see anything regarding my querie.

Yes it can be.

All the DIS would display is Phone.

I have a THB Bury CC9060 installed into my car and works fine. You can only use it to answer/hangup. But I hardly ever use the wheel as it has full voice control. You tell it what to do and it does. Never had any problems!!
 
apparently parrot do an adaptor that allows the use of the mfsw and dis, does anyone know if this is correct?
 
The Bluetooth option doesn't allow for charging. i have a separate cable that allows me to charge my phone from the 12v socket.

You will struggle to find an aftermarket kit that links fully to the steering wheel.

As i mentioned before. The DIS only has full integration with the Audi kit. Otherwise it will just show PHONE like i mentioned before.
