    Brake pad advice

At my last service the brake pads were reported to be 75% worn at about 31,000 miles, good life but expected I guess as I do motorway driving everyday. Was surprised they didn’t stitch me up for new front and back pads but they seem a good dealer.

I don’t want to wait for the light to come on but at the same time no point getting them changed do you think 5,000 miles before changing seems fair or do they tend to wear more at the end ?

I will be taking full advantage of the Ł99 per pair fixed price by Audi for cars over 3 years old
Audi S3 (8P) most of the extras apart from the bucket seats.

Just be careful how long you wait and check them yourself. Audi said I had 50% left, and two weeks of normal driving later, the brakes disintegrated!
