S3 Steering Wheel and HL question

I have just bought an 08 plate S3 which has a round multifunction steering wheel. Can i just put a flat bottomed one staright in or are the airbags different?

Also i have Xenons with DRL's but they are the older halogen DRL's not the 09 LED ones, would these be a straight swap? Thanks,
