LED BULBS FOR REG PLATE... HELP??

Hi just put my LED bulbs in but my a3 06 plate... but my dash keeps showing error saying my bulbs have a fault ?? while my lights are on after afew seconds they trip out any1 know why ??

These are what iv put in

Did you stick a resistor in?

This is mine with a mini-resistor and works great and is fault-free.

Theyre 150Ω Mini-Resistors from Maplins, cost me 34p for two. http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=341564

As far as I know I'm the only one to use mini-resistors, and I chose them as a few people were saying the big resistors get hot as theyre close to the bulb. There has been speculation that the mini's being only 0.6W wouldn't be able to last, but mine have been on for over 1000k miles with no problems.

If you dont want to use the minis you can still use 150Ω normal resistors.
