I claim the prize for getting the best value out of a variable service.
My service light has just come on in my 2004 2.0TDi after I've covered 18,700 miles and 23 months since the last service.
Given that the absolute maximum (I understand) is either 19,000 miles or 24 months, I think that's just about perfect.
