FSI Throttle Return Again !

My 2.0FSI A3 is superb apart from a problem with throttle return. When using full or nearly full throttle when accelerating hard in first and second gear the revs stay high when the throttle is released and the clutch depressed to change gear. Despite a number of visits to my Audi dealer there “FSI” expert says this is normal and no fault codes show on the diagnostics.
I find the car very difficult to drive like this and feel sure it must have a fault, anybody else had this problem ?

No, that sounds like a problem to me. Mine does not do that at all and drives great. Take it back and insist that they fix it, or get customer services involved. Main dealers always panic if you write a letter to the head office doubting their ability to support Audi cars.
