Folding Mirror question

If i leave the switch in the folded possition should the mirrors auto fold/open again?

I left it in that possition earlier to fold them away then later when i started the car they opened back up, but they wont fold away again unless I turn the switch away and back again!

The mirrors should not fold out if you start the car.
I have to fold my mirrors in when going into the garage and unfold them only when I’ve revered out of the doors.

Something sounds wrong if they are unfolding every time you start the car.

I was mildly bemused at not having this feature. Almost sounds like a sticking switching... mine behaves just like yours.
