Went sideways yestersday in my S3 and hit the kerb with front left alloy taking a bit of a chunk out of the edge. How much to get it repaired and is it best to take to an Audi dealer or independent??
Thanks

Sorry to say this but you might have damaged more than just the alloy.

good point, but think everything else is OK. i was only in 1st gear and less than 5mph and just bounced off the kerb really

Oh that doesn't sound bad, thought it was a 30 mph jobbie, personally I would go independent but depends how bad it is so pics would help.

some places do them for as low as £50 an alloy. Even the likes of chips away etc IIRC

I may have nudged one of mine today, but it was well worth it,LOL

I was having so much fun and paid the price fortunatly fun can be had at low speeds in the snow and if you are sensible you do it when no one is around........ hehehe

Sorry i love the snow !

My local Audi dealer will repair one price only little or a lot of damage £60 inc vat

Send it to Pristene Wheel Refurbishers. They will fully repair the wheel and weld up any missing chunks of metal where other companys just sand and use cheap filler.

thanks for the advice. i'm in the West Mids
