Hiya guys, well from what i can tell, my wheel alignment is fine, the car doesnt pull tot he left or right, but, my steering wheel when going straight isn't 100% straight, its pointing slightly to the left. Can i in any way alter my steering wheel by just a tiny amount so when i'm going straight, my steering wheel is also.

Cheers

Will need to take the wheel off, and just move it a few notches

Are you absolutely 100% sure that your alignment is fine? More like that it's out rather than the steering wheel

oright ok, is that easy to do?

Well i think so, not 100% though, but it doesnt pull left or right on a flat road

DIY -surely it would be easier to adjust the trackrod ends rather than mess on with an airbag? What ever you turn 'off' one end turn 'on' the other.

Either way i'd say a specialist.... If you take it to a tyre place or the like they will sort the alignment for around £30 i'd say.

Paul is right. Get it laser aligned and put the fault right rather than disguise it by moving the wheel on the spline

absolutely 100% agree with these chaps, never move the wheel to correct alignment unless you think it's been off before and not out on correctly. Adjust it from the business end instead, £30 well spent on alignment to ensure you dont waste a dam sight more than that on poor wearing tyres.

There may also be some issues with the traction control/ABS sensing the 'straight-ahead' position correctly if the problem is 'solved' the wrong way... even though the amount is sufficiently small in this case for this to likely be a non-issue.

Even so, I'd vote for getting it done 'properly'... and I don't know which way that is for sure, but I'd guess that a 'proper' laser alignment might be the way.

Ahh i see, wasn't aware it could cause a problem at the other end. In that case, wheel alignment it is.

Cheers for the responses guys
