    Removing ISOFIX front seat? HELP!

As above. What is it for and can it be removed? Im referring to the 2 metal hooks in the crack of the seat.

Thanks for that kite, I thought it was. But did have a little look and didn't want to be removed easily. May have to dissect the seat.

Right. Got to the underneath back of the seat and and have undone the 2x screws and its got some movement now but cant seem to get it out. Do I have to take the seat out or the top part of the seat apart from the base?
    Any ideas??

According to the workshop manual you need to remove the seat cover and padding from the seat frame. Then remove the two bolts at the back of the seat base and then detach the ISO fixes from the seat frame.

My A3 has a light grey interior so the ISO hoops are not very noticable.
