    Wheels questions 19"...

Right what 19" alloys would fit with no mods.??
I had 19" Kahn alloys 8j 45et with 235/35/19 Tyres rubes when I went over speed bumps...

I'm after some 19" rs4 alloys but I'm scared that it's going to rub again??
I want to lower the car aswell..

What rs4 alloys would go on with no rubbing!! Help!!

the ET45 will fit you just need 215/35/19 tyres you can then lower it as much as you want with no rubbing

I had 235's on my CH's which rubber a fair bit. I went to 225's and the rubbing stopped.

225's are the 'correct' tyre - 235's are cheaper which is why they're often used instead.

Offset and with will affect the rubbing, so keep to 8J if you can, and as close to ET50 as possible.

But if your is not a Diesel, and you are after some serious driving, you wont be using this rim/tyre setup...

    The way to go is 8 x 19 ET 50 with 225/35/19.

I still drive my car hard-ish, and its mapped now, you S3 snob
    If I had 350bhp S3, I'd run 225s.

n8 is right. 215/35/19 tyres and you are sorted. i got them on and rs6 wheels with et45 no rubbing (well there is a little at the rear when i go very very hard on corners but i got 15 mm spacers on the back:d which will be swapped for 12 mm soon) and on sun im removing rear coils adjusters:D
