55 plate a3 2.0 tdi,engine management light on, 17075 fan 1 control circuit to gnd p0691. what does it mean

checked you fuses? and checked the aircon is working properly, not stuck on ECON?

I am not a whizz at faultcodes, but its somewhere to start until someone can give you a more informative answer.
