Hi,
I've just got off the phone to my local dealer who has quoted me £307 for my 70,000 mile "variable longlife" service. Now on their website it says "major service" is a fixed cost of £199.
I asked the dealer to explain the differences between the two. Apparently the ONLY difference is the type of engine oil they use when flushing out the old stuff. Other than that it's exactly the same service.
Surely this can't be right, they want to charge me an extra £108 just to fill my A3 up with long-life oil!
Has anyone had a similar experience?
