Quick question- Concert stereo??

I have an 03 plate 2.0 TDi Sport which is fitted with an "Audi Concert" stereo. Can somebody tell me how I enable it to turn on/off with the ignition (I presume this is possible??) as at the moment I am having to do it manually everytime by pressing the on/off button on the stereo. Thanks in advance :icon_thumright:

It uses the CANBUS to tell it when the keys are pulled out which turns it off. The only normal reason it wouldn't do this is if it's not the original HU, which would then mean it would turn off after an hour, does it turn off after an hour?
A VAGCOM scan might reveal something.

I've only had the car a few days but come to think of it yeah, when I was driving it home down the motorway the stereo switched itself off for no reason which I thought was odd??!! Does this mean that the headunit in my car isn't the original one it came with then??
