    Engine management light reset

Had a coilpack break which has now been replaced. Car drives as it should now.
Problem is the EML is still on. Im assuming its logged the fault in memory. Is there any way to reset it by disconnecting the battery or some sequence of button presses?
If it requires an trip to Audi just to clear it any idea what they will charge please?

You could try disconnecting battery for 5mins which will bring most other lights on but if you take on a short drive should clear,if that light stays on then its definate a vagcom job to clear the code it has stored
