Hey guys

I was wondering if anyone knows how to switch this off either using the DIS or vag-com?

I know it has a purpose to remind you that you're keys are still in. But considering i have an expensive car i wouldn't really forget to take them out.

When i park it and need to quickly run to the boot for instance i find the noise a little annoying.

Did try to search the forum and the vagcom thread but alas nothing.

Cheeeeers.

Does it do a beep or something when you open the door with the key in??

Now I'm trying to remember (in and out so many cars LOL)

Is it only if the lights are left on/Auto?

Naa my lights are auto. So no warnings from that side.

Its when the keys are literally left in the barrel. You open the door. The DIS shows "Keys left in the ignition" or something to that affect.

Long continuous beep.
May be
Indicator still on Engine off = parking light one side of the car
I have that on A3 2006 with auto lights
until the door is shut
Trev

Mines is 08. The only beep l get that l cant identify is when l insert key turn on start, sometimes l get this beep. Not in reverse no indicator engaged and no message pops up.
