Retro Fit Bose

Just wondered if it was possible to retrofit Bose into an A3?

Has anyone done it and whats needed?

Possible but for the effort required (complete rewire) you would benefit more by putting in an aftermarket system

i agree with boydie on the aftermarket system.

i specc'd my S3 with bose and it was a waste of my money.
sure, the sound quality is good, but it doesnt have much bass.
ended up having to throw in a JL audio 10" sub...

Bose is okay if you're speccing from new, or your used car has got it already. I found it 'adequate'...plenty loud if not the nicest sound.

I'd go aftermarket, much less wiring gayness, nicer sound, and probably/possibly cheaper

Thanks for the replys guys I'll go down the after Market route once I've finished with the engine and suspension.
