ok when i search for
8P0 054 692 it comes up for 2004-2007 a3/s3sportsback/quttro
and
8P0 054 692 A comes up for 2008-2008 a3/s3sportsback/quttro

what did it go for in the end?
 
the A version i think is the one with the newer icons on the stalk, i may be wrong. The headlight has an arrow pointing forward. ill try find some pics
 
Yeh I didn't go for it as I don't think it would fit my 2005 3.2......
 
switch is £ 59

cowling is £ 24.22

from local dealers, does this sound about right?
