Hi, I've got a 2008 1.8TFSI DSG and noticed that on hot days the cars shifting is really bad. When accelerating from a standstill there is a big shunt (like a really bad manual change).

Once moving it is OK but then again when coming to a standstill and stopped the cars revs bounce like its about to stall but an anti-stall system kicks in, it does this a few times whilst stationary. It also does this on cooler days but always late at night for some reason - and no the car wasn't being driven hard. I also notice the occasional soft band when the DSG seems to short shift from say 3rd to 4th.

I've also noticed that the car frequently keeps the fan running when switched (more so than other A3s). It does it more often when trying to get into a tricky parking slot and having to change from R to D a few times.

Will be getting the car serviced shortly but thought I'd check with you guys just in case Audi say it's common and not an issue when in fact it might be fault.

Cheers.
