I have posted a similar question before but the issue has raised its head again. I had not driven my wifes A3 for some time but drove it this week and reminded myself that the auto box can be jerky on some downshifts.
I instantly think about changing the oil in the gearbox, my local garage have quoted me a reasonable price, I called audi for a similar quote and they advised me the oild cannot be changed in the Tiptronic autobox...( note it is not the DSG box)
Can anyone advise me on this, can it be done, should it be done or are all these boxes not quite smooth as silk?!
