    How do you remove trim from gear stick?

    im changing my interior trim over, ive done everything but i just cant get the trim from around the gear sick off
    any advice?

    Yeah, have you got an ashtray in the front of it or the storage cubby?

    If ashtray then open lid & pull the gear trim up from the front & each corner gently & then should come of.

    Also helps to pull the gaitor out as its only clipped into place, bend the gaitor plastic slightly to get it unclipped then the gaitor just lifts up, then just pull it up over the gearknob & leave it like that, then you can pull the trim upwards at each corner as its got a fixing in each corner thats pressure based, be careful only pull a inch or 2 or you'll break the legs of, patients required as its a 50 part.

    i can see the clips on each corner but when i bend them back it still does not want to lift
    ill give it a go

    gave it a go but when i bend the 4 clips back im getting no movement at all

    lol i left the gaitor on, i got 2 small screw drivers uncliped 1 side and pulled it with a bit of force and then the other side
