does anyone know the front strut diameter on a 2006 plate sportback is a 50mm or a 55mm as im looking at getting my coilover and need to know..

someone told me but cant remember . thanks G
 
55mm (or 54.something to be precise, so I was told) on mine, 09 A3 3dr, and I *think* yours is the same. double check tho!
