Im new to this forum. Ive read all the threads on AVS/intervals but cant convince myself that the DIS/dealer is right: Had my A3 SB 1.9TDI serviced 3 weeks ago at 13100miles(DIS said service du
e in 300) miles. It read 13400 till next oil change and 18000 till service- fair enough same intervals as first service. I have done 700 miles in 3 weeks and now the interval has already dropped to 8000miles- thats 5400 instead of 700! That cannot be right surely. I drive exactly the same way I did for the first 18m/13100 miles. Could the mechanic have used the wrong oil? At this rate Ill need an oil change in only 2 months1
