Really stupid question, got a replacement rear view mirror (black one). How the do I remove the old one ?

isit a rear view dimming mirror? or just a normal one?
if its a rear view dimming mirror you need to remove the trim pieces around it and twist it (will require some force) i think you need to twist in the anti clock wise position if i can remember correctly.
