I had one on my old TT 225, the car had been chipped and was running a panel filter in a modded air box at the time and the CDA made a noticable diff.
It seemed to pick up quicker off turbo and had a slightly harder hit when the turbo spooled up. I'd guesstimate about a 10 bhp increase from std at least. Mine was second hand too and I got it for around a £100 so these results were with a slightly dirty filter too.
