One touch window wind down keeps disabling

I sometime have an issue with my windows where the one touch wind down disables itself if you try to one touch wind the window up and it stops thinking there is an obstruction. It seems to take three goes before it disables itself. I have managed somehow once to renable it but every other time the garage has done it.

Has anybody else have a similar experience and happen to know if there is some technique for resetting them without VAG COM?
