hi lads

ive got bottom engine cover fitted 2 mths ago. when i was traveling through germany its its been hit. also got dent in archer front passanger side. is that engine bottom cover is nessesary???

Not really, its most likely to crack when you go over another bump eventually even if you do get it changed. as far as im aware wont be an mot failure but i think the engine bay will get slightly more dirty than usual..?

I guess your talking about the plastic sump guard ? You can remove it as it`s more of a dust shield then anything as they crack for a past time. I have removed mine and had it replaced with a metal version Audi sale.

how much did you pay for that medal version mike?

£355 which is a good price really for what you get as there is a plate plus several support bars. Basically you could jack the car up on this plate if you wanted it`s so ridged and hard. I wrote about it plus some pictures HERE .

its a lot of money but looks like good stuff. my consern is - is it any problem to drive without this cover?
