Xenon coding for S3

Hi all, need some quick help after fiddling with my vag-com.

My car is a 8P S3, with adaptive lights. I believe all S3s come with bi-xenon? Why is it then that my vag-com screen says that I do not have "xenon headlights with shutter"?

Should I tick and save? Or is that indeed the correct configuration?

Those are xenons, you have bi-xenons. Mine is the same don't worry.

Phew...almost scared my panties wet for a minute there. Thanks.

Just to reconfirm, no matter if the dipped beam is on or off, if I pull the stalk (flash to pass) or push it (high beam), the xenons go on and you can hear the shutter, right?

Just seems odd to me as I heard constant on/off switched kills xenon bulbs.

Constant on/off kills any bulb, there's no avoiding it mate.
