I wondered if anyone could tell me the correct PSI for the tyres on a black edition A3? I got Audi to fit them instead of the standards, but I presume the info on the inside of petrol cap isn't now correct.

Can anyone tell me what they should be for a light load?

Mark

Just had a look - 42 front, 36 rear (PSI)
Mine is the 3 door though, and the info was inside the drivers door.

I stand to be corrected, but I thought tyre pressures were calibrated in conjunction with the weight of the vehicle? The V6 - 1495kg and 2.0 TDI 'BE'- 1330kg, so not sure that the pressures are transferable. Was the V6 in 18s originally? If so I would stick with the manufacturers sticker on your car (if the tyre and rims sizes are the same). Just a thought.

Ahh of course - I stupidly hadn't thought about car weight. They are still 18s so will just go with the recommended pressures. Thanks
