a3 tdi whistle?

Hi lads

Ive noticed when i put a bit foot down rev beetween 2000-3000 (aprox - or even higher) then take foot off accel./change gear i can hear sort of whistle or something like when u try to loose a little bit of air pressure in tyre. is it normal? sorry for my english. im trying describe it as best as i can.
 
It's the turbo mate, completly normal. It's the same noise you hear when dump valves are fitted, only somewhat louder with a dump valve ;)
 
Mine does exactly this even though its stock. It sounds ALOT like a turbo blow off valve, but for a stock tdi it is very noticeable. Never heard anything this loud in a tdi before.

I keep thinking my turbo's going but love the sound and wish its healthy!:unsure:

well...you should fix it, you might be losing some power and that could be the reason. there shouldn't be any leakings.
