Hi i just installed a K&N Air Intake for my 2006 Audi A3 2.0T Quattro.

Picture after installation: http://i42.tinypic.com/2yopqwj.jpg

I had already mapped my car to 242bhp, and have a Remus Power Sound exhaust installed.

Today after the install of the Air Intake my engine makes a strange sound at 4k RPM. Above it its fine, below it its fine. You can hear the sound on the youtube video.

I can not find any leaks in the pipes or connections.

Any idea what this might be? The car drives fine, and performs well as far as I can tell.

Thank you for your time.

Weird!! It sounds more like an electronic beep on the video.

I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to make that noise though.

its def not an electronic beep, its mechanical. sounds like someone is blowing a strange whistle or something. im clueless.

Diverter Valve. Like a blow off valve but it's a closed system that is used on the 2.0TFSI.

Not a scooby mate. Someone will be able to help eventually. The forum is a bit quieter at the weekends.
