VW and Audi have taken 4 of the awards this year with best 1-litre to 1.4-litre going to the Volkswagen 1.4-litre TSI Twincharger which also got Green Engine of the Year and International Engine of the Year 2009 the new 2.0TFSI engine found in the A4 etc won best 1.8-litre to 2-litre.

Also, the 2.5TFSI from TT-RS got second place in the 2-2.5 litre category

I used to have a 57 plate GT Sport 1.4 TSI 170 from new for 16 months, it was cracking car. Sadly had to sell it last month for a ****** diesel!
