    Lightbulb Plug-n-pray BOSE upgrade?

While browsing the 2009 A3 brochure recently, I noticed that the cabriolet BOSE amp offered a markedly higher power output than the standard BOSE amp.

Any thoughts on whether it might be worth switching out the standard amp for the cabriolet version for a 'livelier' audio perfomance?

I'm assuming of course that the speakers are standard across the A3 range and will handle the extra 'juice'.

Can anyone see if there are different part numbers for the hard-top and soft top A3 BOSE amps?

As much as I really like these drawings I'm none to good at reading them. Looks like it won't be a straight swap of the amp box (I've assumed the amp box is part 21 and 27 respectively here) as there are several different parts required.

    Cab amp is 8P7 035 225 , non cab amp is 8P3 035 225
Do these number relate to parts 21 and 27 above?

When I search these on google I get a bit of kit that doesn't look a lot like an amp to me...
