    spotted

    not too sure if there is a spotted section on here, but hey.

    I saw a 09 black edition s3, was in yateley today, anyone on here????? looked gorgeous, had the DRL's on, looked so stealthy. not a big fan of the new headlights, but when the DRL's are on it does look really good

    Out of interest, were they bright white, or slightly yellowy like normal bulbs?
    '09 A3 2.0 TDI Black Edition 140PS
    Got: Bose, Xenon Plus, LED DRLs
    , FBMFSW, 18" 7 Twin-Spoke 'Titanium' Wheels, Interior Light Pack, Non-Smoker pack, Debadged
    Want sooner:
    S3 pedals, VCDS (VagCom), LaminX front lights
    Maybe later:
    RNS-e (or equivalent), 19" Wheels (as above)

    black edition S3??? thought it was only on the 1.8, 2.0 petrols and 2.0 diesels?? not the S3??

    they were bright white! obviously been changed then

    it may not have been both of them, but im pretty certain it was the s3, it had the s3 badge on front, and oval exhausts and the s3 body kit and its was all black, black grill and had dark grey rs4 alloys

    Xenons are bright white with a hint of blue and the standard halogens are yellow.

    I was thinking about the DRL 'colour', is that what you meant?

    I guess someones put the black grille and darker wheels on their S3 then...can't see someone paying for the bodykit and S3 badges onto a new black edition...seems pointless IMO
