From the old to the new key

Hi I notice that the newer audi a3 has a little bit diffrent key, I think it looks better. So my question is could I buy the new one and program it to work just like the old one? will the blade and transponder from the old one fit into the new? then just reprogramming the remote lock and unlock or even better will the immobisiliser from the old fit the new key.

These keys are well priced on both ebay uk & de... I'm interested in getting one too, my old one looks tatty
