Vag Com coding for SportBack rear lights??

Hi all,

Does anyone have a link for the coding part for the SportBack rear lights on a a pre-facelift A3?

I know there was a thread somewhere but seems to have disappeared

Hi Guffy
Did mine about a week ago and these are the codes I found on the net and changed and everything seems to be alright

Byte 9 to Dec = 0 - as the final brake light
Byte 10 to Dec = 0 - fog lamp as a taillight
Byte 12 to Dec = 36 - dimming rear stand light
Byte 19 Bit to cold diagnosis rear active - this must be activated

hope you get them to work as i found myself going out when it's dark just to see them on

There's an option to make them brighter...

I done them for Blazin but cant remember which one it was but it ws defo well worth doing..

Maybe someone else could post the number to amke it brighter unless that is the bright one..

it is what you change in vagcom to make the new 09 rear lights function in a pre-facelift A3.
