1.6 P Reg Upgrades!

i just bought an a3 and i ****** love it!
feels like its made of gold compared to my astra!
i was just wondering, its a 1.6 p reg,
what small engine upgrades could i do at a lowish cost to earn a few more bhp?
and wheres the chapest place to get parts for it? i live in south east london

if its a p reg then you may want to post this in the 8L section as this is the 8p which is the newer shape! but performance wise, your probably best off getting a decent air filter, full exhaust, maybe some new cams, or lower it, fit a lightweight set of allows, anti roll bar and make it handle like a dream!

as above, go for handling as you won't get much from a 1.6 N/A petrol without spending a bomb. at least if you concentrate on the handling then you'll keep up some faster cars round the twisties.
